This is my absolute favorite restaurant in all of Richmond!! Excellent service, chic vibe, perfectly crafted cocktails, incredible wine selection, and fantastic seasonal food. The diavola pizza is delicious. We also love the burrata appetizer & spring pea salad with hanger steak. Highly recommend this place for a date night or before a show at the Carpenter Theater across the street. You won't be disappointed.

Came in on a weeknight and they had a small, 3-piece band lightly playing to fill the atmosphere with gentle, entertaining sounds. Their menu is interesting, but I have to say I was disappointed to not find vegetarian options for their pizzas. There might have been one, but for a truly artistic place in such a liberal, artsy area, they should have had more options. Service was mixed โ Our main server was forgetful and spaceyโฆ We would ask for things and heโd acknowledge and walk away only to come back a few minutes later and ask what we asked him for. Come onโฆ Do better, management! As for the food โ The pizzas really needed a slightly higher temperature and about 30 seconds more. The meatballs were cold inside and the sauce was luke warm. The Calabrian cauliflower was also on the cool side โ very odd considering we saw char marks on them. Hmmโฆ The flavor of the pizzas was nice though, but it would have been so much better if it was a little more charred and crusty. Overall โ This was on my โhit listโ for visiting the downtown Richmond area, thatโs why I brought colleagues here for dinner, unfortunately it didnโt deliver โ far from it.

The place is nice, clean & cozy, and their menu is so different, if you want to eat something different, this is the spot. Do not expect to see spaghetti on the menu, although today they went out of their way to accommodate my special needs and made me a beautiful spaghetti with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese (check the picture out). But seriously, you'll see their menu has lots of fresh ingredients like fennel & sage that gives it that clean crispy taste but do expect a little kick in the end. ๐๐ผ

This restaurant opened about a year ago and boy are we glad it did! The wood fire pizza has the perfect combo of crispy crust on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The pizza toppings are top notch and some of the best pizza in RVA! High recommend the signature burrata because the sliced pork cheek is next level! (Think bacon but on steroids!) The pasta is handmade and you can taste the freshness! Seriously so good! The Hanger Steak was next level, it had a beautiful char on the outside but cooked to a perfect medium rare! You donโt see Hanger steak often so we were very excited as it is one of the best cuts of beef you will ever eat! If you have never had fried polenta you simply must order the Shrimp & Fried Polenta. The best way to eat here is to order several dishes for the table and share everything. This way everyone gets a taste of several yummy dishes they have to offer. If youโre looking for a great place for a date night or somewhere to take the whole family then look no further! There isnโt a bad dish on the menu 10/10 would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!
